Tour Plan
- You'll be picked up afternoon from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for a scheduled flight at 4 PM to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). You'll arrive at Mtemere Airstrip, where your professional guide will meet you. After a short briefing, you will go to the gate for check-in.
You'll begin an exciting sunset game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and more as the sun sets over the savannah. You will arrive at Mufasa Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
You will begin your day after an early breakfast and pick-up from your hotel, Selous Safari Lodge. Our guide will take you on a boat safari across the Rufiji River. You will witness the sunrise inside the park. You will witness hippos, crocodiles, and other animals during the boat adventure. You will enjoy non-alcoholic champagne while cruising down the river.
In the afternoon, we will take you on a bush walking safari and then to the Maasai village to experience the real indigenous African culture, which depends on hunting and gathering. Later in the day, you will indulge in a hot lunch. In the evening, you will head to the Matemere Airstrip and board a flight back to Zanzibar, where your driver will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour or transfer date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the service will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
- Any changes to bookings must be communicated in advance.

- To guarantee your spot, especially during peak tourist seasons, we strongly recommend booking your tour in advance.
- Early booking helps you avoid last-minute stress and ensures your reservation is secured
How To Pay
- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your tour booking. The remaining 80% balance can be paid in cash at your hotel one day after arrival.
- I will personally meet you at the hotel reception to give a short briefing about our tours.
- After the briefing, you can pay the remaining balance in full, and I will write a receipt for your booking.
- If you prefer to pay by credit card, a 5% transaction fee will apply.
