Baraka Aquarium is located in the northern part of Unguja Island and is one of the best places in Zanzibar to experience swimming with sea turtles. This natural lagoon attracts many visitors who want a close, respectful encounter with these incredible marine animals. The aquarium serves as a temporary sanctuary for turtles that have been rescued by local fishermen after being injured or found in danger. The turtles are carefully protected and cared for in the lagoon until they fully recover, after which they are released back into the open ocean.
During your visit, you will have the unique opportunity to swim alongside the turtles in clear, calm waters. You may feed them seaweed, snorkel to observe them up close, or simply enjoy sharing the water with them in their natural environment. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour or transfer date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the service will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
- In case of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, we offer a free rescheduling of the service.
- Any changes to bookings must be communicated in advance.
Advance Reservation
- To guarantee your spot, especially during peak tourist seasons, we strongly recommend booking your tour in advance.
- Early booking helps you avoid last-minute stress and ensures your reservation is secured
How To Pay
- A 20% deposit is required to confirm your tour booking. The remaining 80% balance can be paid in cash at your hotel one day after arrival.
- I will personally meet you at the hotel reception to give a short briefing about our tours.
- After the briefing, you can pay the remaining balance in full, and I will write a receipt for your booking.
- If you prefer to pay by credit card, a 5% transaction fee will apply.
