Tour Plan
From Muyuni, enjoy a 25–40 minute boat ride to the breathtaking Mnemba Island. Along the way, there is an excellent chance (around 95%) of spotting dolphins. Guests are welcome to swim near them and enjoy this magical and observe them in their natural environment. Next, we head to Mnemba Island, one of Zanzibar’s top snorkeling destinations. Dive into crystal-clear waters and explore colorful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and marine life.
Depending on the tide conditions, we may also visit the famous Mnemba Sandbank—a secluded strip of white sand surrounded by turquoise waters. Here, you can relax, swim, take stunning photos, and enjoy fresh tropical fruits served on the boat. We typically spend 30–60 minutes on the sandbank (or longer upon request).
Please note: sandbank visits are tide-dependent and not guaranteed.Afterward, we return by boat to Muyuni Beach (approximately 25–30 minutes) and continue by road to Baraka Aquarium.
Baraka Aquarium is a natural lagoon sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sea turtles. Here, you’ll have the rare opportunity to swim with sea turtles in their natural environment. You may feed them seaweed, snorkel alongside them, or simply relax in the water and observe these gentle creatures up close.
What to Bring
- We recommend sunscreen, water shoes, a hat, a waterproof bag or camera, and an extra set of dry clothes, as parts of the tour involve shallow water and swimming.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour or transfer date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the service will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
- In case of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, we offer a free rescheduling of the service.
- Any changes to bookings must be communicated in advance.
Advance Reservation
- To guarantee your spot, especially during peak tourist seasons, we strongly recommend booking your tour in advance.
- Early booking helps you avoid last-minute stress and ensures your reservation is secured
How To Pay
- A 20% deposit is required to confirm your tour booking. The remaining 80% balance can be paid in cash at your hotel one day after arrival.
- I will personally meet you at the hotel reception to give a short briefing about our tours.
- After the briefing, you can pay the remaining balance in full, and I will write a receipt for your booking.
- If you prefer to pay by credit card, a 5% transaction fee will apply.
