Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar after breakfast and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled 08:00 flight to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you’ll begin your unforgettable game drive through the heart of the Serengeti, carrying your packed picnic lunch with you.
Spend the day exploring the vast plains, home to an incredible variety of wildlife. The Serengeti is renowned for the Great Migration massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope moving together according to the rains. It’s also one of the best places to encounter resident predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Every minute offers the chance to witness something extraordinary.
The Great Migration’s calving season, when thousands of newborn wildebeest arrive, typically takes place from mid-December to early April. You’ll arrive at your accommodation on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim in time to relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night. Staying on the rim gives you the perfect advantage an early morning descent into the crater the following day, when animals are most active and sightings are at their best.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. It’s the world’s largest unbroken caldera, offering a unique ecosystem where wildlife thrives in incredible density. Inside the crater, you’ll enjoy stunning landscapes and an exciting chance to spot all members of the Big Five lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and the rare black rhino. You may also see flamingos along the crater lakes and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Early in the morning, our professional driver-guide will pick you up from your lodge in Karatu and begin the scenic journey to Tarangire National Park. With your packed lunch boxes onboard, you’ll enjoy a full-day wildlife adventure as you explore this incredible park.
Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and its rich variety of landscapes from open savannas to seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline during the dry season, attracts a remarkable concentration of wildlife. With a bit of luck, you might witness a lion stealthily stalking its prey or spot a leopard resting lazily on the branches above.
After an exciting day of game viewing, we’ll drive you back to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives, carrying packed lunch boxes for a relaxed picnic in the wild. Enjoy the stunning scenery, from lush groundwater forests to the expansive soda lake shimmering with birdlife. After an exciting day exploring the park and taking in its natural beauty, we’ll transfer you to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
Lake Manyara is well known for its iconic tree-climbing lions lounging on acacia branches, as well as its large populations of baboons that are often seen right from the moment you enter the park. The combination of wildlife, forests, and lake views makes it one of Tanzania’s most charming safari destinations.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour or transfer date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the service will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service, or no-shows, are non-refundable.
- Any changes to bookings must be communicated in advance.
How to Pay
- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your tour booking. The remaining 80% balance can be paid in cash at your hotel one day after arrival.
- I will personally meet you at the hotel reception to give a short briefing about our tours.
- After the briefing, you can pay the remaining balance in full, and I will write a receipt for your booking.
- If you prefer to pay by credit card, a 5% transaction fee will apply.

When Is the Best Time to Visit the Serengeti?
The Serengeti is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit depends on what you want to experience.
June to October (Dry Season)
This is the most popular time to visit. Wildlife is easier to spot as animals gather around water sources, and the weather is dry and pleasant. It’s an excellent period for classic game viewing and predator action.
July to September – Great Migration River Crossings
This is the peak season to witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings in the northern Serengeti. It’s one of Africa’s most iconic safari experiences.
January to March – Calving Season
Located mainly in the southern Serengeti and Ndutu area, this period is perfect for seeing thousands of wildebeest calves being born. Predator sightings are very common during this time.
November to May (Green Season)
The landscape is lush and beautiful, birdlife is at its best, and there are fewer tourists. Short rains usually fall in November and December, while April and May can be wetter.
